I didn’t create this journal because I’m great at journaling. Actually—it’s the opposite.

For a long time, I felt like life was just moving too fast. I’d have these moments with God… answers to prayer… little breakthroughs… little revelations… but then a few weeks later, I wouldn’t remember them. I’d forget what God had done. I’d forget what He said to me in that quiet moment in His Word. And slowly, I realized—without reflection, I was letting God’s faithfulness slip right past me.

I didn’t want to live distracted anymore. I wanted something that would help me slow down, listen, and actually remember what matters.

This journal was born out of that desire.

It’s not just about writing pages of thoughts or being perfect at journaling. It’s about building a habit of paying attention to God—His presence, His voice, His work in your life. It’s about making space to reflect, remember, and grow. It’s meant to be something that can be looked back on years from now or shared with future generations to show how God has spoken and moved in the ordinary and the profound—so the story being written in each of our lives is never forgotten.

I created Monument Journal for people like me—people who want to walk with Jesus in a more intentional way. People who want to track their walk with God, to be able to reflect on His faithfulness, and to be prompted toward growth in their walk.
